This Summer's Project

We are getting on our way with this summer's project! Last year was getting the trees down and out and building the deck. This year, making it the back yard we've always wanted.
We, I mean, Troy dug out the other two stumps that were remaining and have gotten all the debris from the wood out. Today we made our big purchase of dirt/fill and fencing! I am sooo excited. It's going to be a lot of work, but it's worth it. Once we get this done, anything else we want to do in the yard will just be fun stuff. I mean, once we get the list done:
Deck - Check!
Fence
Dog Run
Sprinkler System
Grass

Yahoo! It will be great. Then maybe we can get some of the stuff done on the inside of the house... then we can really relax!

Great Brows!

The whole reason I felt log blogging tonight - I just got new tweezers and brow filler (or as M.A.C. calls it, brow shader) Between the two products, oh - my - gosh! It's like I just had my brows done professionally! In fact, I think I like them better than the last time I had them waxed.

Speaking of waxing... The best place is down town called Urban Waxx. I have been waxed a few times (ya know... in the unmentionable area) and I have very sensitive skin on my bikini area to shaving and waxing. I had no problems! And, I know this sounds crazy, but it didn't hurt! Sure it didn't feel good - and sure, you felt something, but really - compared to other places I've been, WOW! I went there for the first time before my trip to Cancun in April and will be going next week. I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. Any way, great place!

And you should see my eye brows! Ok, now I will feel like a complete ass if you see me next and think, "what's the big deal, they look the same, or bad, or whatever". Oh well, I guess I make an ass of myself almost every day!

To blog or not to blog...

...that is the question. Do I continue blogging on this one that I haven't posted on in almost 7 months!!!! Or do I start a new one? I'm not saying I'm going to go into this blogging frenzy, but I got a wild hair tonight and kinda felt like it.

An elephant was walking along and ran across a camel. She was looking a tad perplexed, and finally asked. " Why do you have your breasts on your back?" The camel looked over said, "That is a pretty strange question coming from someone with a wiener on their face!"

Obsessing...

I have become a little obsessive about my new bedding. You see I get like this when I get something I love. I want it to be just so and just the way I want it.
We have had the same bedding for almost 9 years. That's how long we have been married (almost)... and I never really loved the bedding. I have been wanting to get chocolate brown bedding with an accent of green.
With our lovely friends, the Ketah's, staying here to watching our dogs I couldn't let them sleep in our nasty old bedding. Not because I didn't like it, but because it was icky! I knew it was bad and I've been on the hunt for new stuff. But when I got home from Eagle Crest, yikes! It HAD TO GO! Especially knowing that others were going to be sleeping in our bed for a week.
So, I have just spent the last 30 - 45 minutes making sure that everything was just as I wanted it. Lined up and folded back just so... I really do like it.
Don't worry, this will wear off and I won't be so nuts about this... I'm just not sure when :-)

Being groomed...

... our doggies got groomed tonight. I love it when they come home from the groomers. They look so pretty. They smell so good. Tonight they smelled like cinnamon or something like holiday spice. They are so cuddly. I couldn't leave them all nasty and smelly for the dog sitters (our friends, the Ketah's) but now I just want to spend more "clean" time with them.
I wish they could be this clean all the time!

6 days until your next cruise!

That's what is says when I sign into "My Princess" account... I like the sound of that, although it is my Princess cruise line account. I think I am a princess... in my own my mind :-) and hopefully the mind of my husband :-)
This time in one week I will be on a lovely ship in the Atlantic Ocean with my wonderful husband. I look forward to catching up. Hanging out together. Just being without distraction.

It will be wonderful!

Happenings of the week

This week started, on Sunday, with me not being able to find my passport. Argh! The one I just got. The one I just paid an expedite fee to ensure that it would here before the cruise... ya, that one. Oh ya, and I didn't know where the packet was for the cruise to confirm a couple of things. I'm sure it has nothing to do with my excellent filing skills! :-)
About an hour or so into it I looked in this bag on my floor, low and behold... they were both there! So thru the hour, at least I got my office cleaned up a bit.
I have gotten some things updated for our trip.

Then last night, I walk in the door after work and there is trash all about the downstairs!!! Thanks dogs! Of course on a night we have community group. Got it cleaned up. Thankfully there wasn't anything gooey... if there was, Ashi licked it up.

We are getting ready to go on our cruise. We leave the day after Thanksgiving... that is next Friday!!!! Yahoo! I am so excited. It will be such a good time after a hard year.
Going thru challenges in our marriage is the hardest thing for me. I am so grateful when we get to this side and I am so happy to be married to Troy. But man, it's been a long, hard year. The cruise will be good for us to be together with no distractions. It will be wonderful! Yahoo relaxing time!

So, I type all of this while Ashi lay here on the floor taunting Druk with a bone. We definitely know who is boss between those two!
